The GEM Dandy Hydraulic LP Cleaning Apparatus MKII The GEM Dandy Hydraulic LP Cleaning Apparatus MKII is designed to clean LPs without causing any damage to the delicate grooves. Unlike vacuum-based cleaners, which can flatten the lands and leave behind residue, the GEM Dandy uses clean water to prevent any potential damage to the LP. The LP is securely mounted on a rotating mandrel with protective label covers to repel the water. The Super Solution agent is applied to the LP surface to loosen contaminants, and then a jet of water is used to flush away the debris from the grooves. This highly effective cleaning system competes with ultrasonic cleaners that cost thousands of dollars.
